After last year's bust in Lafayette, it was good to come home for Mardi Gras. In our entire lives, it was both Andrew and I's first time missing (last year)...and it caused quite the heartache. Needless to say, we were both very anxious to get back to New Orleans. Despite some unexpected weather and very swollen feet, we had a great time hanging out with friends and family. This was our last trip home before Amelia arrives so it was very surreal knowing that the next time we go home she will be with us...in a car seat instead of my belly!!
As far as the little madame goes, our last appointment was March 3rd. At that point she was an estimated 5 pounds and still in the breech position, from what Dr. P could tell. We have our next appointment this Tuesday so hopefully I will have more news! Other than that...enjoy some shots of our Mardi Gras!
